Software for configuring touch panel projects
The touch panels from promesstec GmbH are configured using the Panel Studio software. The program can be used not only to
create and edit visualizations, but also to configure the interfaces. The Historical Vierwer is used to read out logged data.
Data is transferred between the PC and a touch panel via an Ethernet interface or
a removable storage device (USB stick or SD card).

Software for programming UREGs
The universal PID controllers from promesstec can be parameterized both via push buttons and via the associated
Windows application UREG Config. The current device configuration can also be read out and saved on the PC.
A special interface adapter is required to connect the PC and the controller.

The UMU 500 from promestec has buttons as well as a micro USB interface. This allows the universal measuring transducer to be parameterized using
the PM tool. The current device configuration can also be read out and saved on the PC.

To establish a connection between a PC and a promesstec device, only a USB-C cable is usually required
(no additional adapter or interface converter).
In addition to parameterization, measured values can also be read out in real time.
The pmtKinfigTool is a Windows application for parameterizing and configuring multiple promesstec devices.

Alternatively, the configuration of the PPR 500 can also be changed via the touchscreen.
